Our year starts with the World's biggest pollination event; Almond Pollination, February thru March annually. After Almond Pollination, some of our hives are transported to Central Coast for Avocado Pollination. We also transport our hives to Artichoke, Alfalfa Seed, Melon, and Squash fields in the Spring and Summer months for pollination.
We transport our hives at night or when temperature is below 50 degrees. This ensures that we keep all the bees in the hives during transit. We use nets to cover our bees when transporting longer distances.
